Chism to Return to Las Vegas
(Phoenix, AZ) - MTX Audio, the leader in high performance mobile audio products, is hosting the hardest-hitting, most action-packed event that the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has ever seen. On Friday, January 9th, 2009, the hottest ticket in Vegas will be for MTX Fight Night 2: Evolution, a VIP only event. MTX’s MMA team is one of the many ways the company supports its loyal and authorized retailers and is an example of the type of exposure, promotion opportunities, and innovative marketing tools that MTX offers its retail partners every day.
Last year, VMAC’s Brett Chism lost a razor close decision to Robert Scott at the first ever MTX Fight Night. Chism attempted multiple submissions, landed hard head kicks, and even sometimes out-wrestled the former D1 collegiate wrestler, but, still lost the decision to some ineffective ground and pound by Scott.
Chism was asked to return by the promotional team because of his professional and readiness to win. He will face Californian Josh Griggs at this event. Griggs is another former collegiate wrestler with outstanding takedowns, top position control, and ground and pound.
GRIGGS VERSUS LEBRETON
GRIGGS VERSUS COSIO
Chism will be accompanied to Vegas and cornered by VMAC’s Jujitsu Coach, Cam McHargue. VMAC is the South Georgia Team Praxis affiliate.
Chism will return to action in Valdosta at Winter Heat 2009. More exciting details on that later.
Part of the MTX Audio marketing plan is to host these fight events for their partners. They fund a MMA team that has had national successes in conjunction with the UFC’s TUF show. This season, Ryan Bader, a MTX Audio MMA team member was named “The Ultimate Fighter.” Last season, C.B. Dolloway was TUF runner-up.

Wild Bill’s Fight Night: Friday, December 19
A FIGHT FOR CHARITY: MORE THAN 4,000 TOYS DONATED TO TOYS FOR TOTS
NEXT WILD BILL’S FIGHT NIGHT: SATURDAY, JAN. 17
The promoters for Wild Bill’s had an initial goal of donating 2,000 toys from its Friday, December 19 Wild Bill’s Fight Night to Toys For Tots. That number changed to 3,000 then ended up exceeding 4,000 toys that were ultimately donated to the Atlanta branch of Toys For Tots! The event was the first of its kind in Georgia, a completely FREE fight night where anyone that donated a new toy for Toys For Tots could enter the venue for free. VMAC’s Kamrin Naville fought and won over Daniel Parodi on the main event of this charity show.
“This was a success in every category,” said co-promoter David Oblas. “We initially didn’t know what to expect when we first announced the event. But as we got closer to the event
the number of toys kept growing and growing. The night of the fight people were bringing two and three toys per person, instead of the required one toy per person. So many people donated their time and resources to make this event successful that it was amazing.”Wild Bill’s Fight Night will follow this success with two big Saturday night fights to start off 2009: Saturday, January 17 and Saturday, March 7.
Tickets for the Saturday, Jan 17 Wild Bill’s Fight Night are currently on sale at all Ticketmaster locations and serve as a terrific Holiday gift. They can also be purchased at any Publix location. Don’t forget that Comcast Ch 1 On Demand is your home for fight action in the Atlanta and surrounding areas. Comcast Ch 1 On Demand televises all past Wild Bill’s Fight Nights as well as the popular Inside Punch tv show that takes you inside the world of Atlanta boxing and mixed martial arts. VMAC fighter and instructor, Kamrin Naville, is set for the main event at the “Toys for Tots” charity fight event to be held in Atlanta on Friday night, December 19th. The event will be held at Wild Bill’s in Atlanta.

Naville will face Daniel Parodi. Parodi is a marine, formerly of Atlanta, who is 6-1 as an amateur and 1-0 as a professional MMA fighter. Parodi is taller and heavier than Naville and has a penchant for delivering punishing leg kicks to his opponent. Naville is a Valdosta and fan favorite. He is a fighter who puts it all on the line when he steps in the cage. It is predicted he will win many fans over with his Atlanta fight debut on Friday.
Promoters report that fans specifically as them to match Naville on their cards. Parodi was chosen for the main event because Toys for Tots is a USMC charity. In order to gain admission to the event, fans only need to bring a toy.
VMAC wants to congratulate promoter David Oblas for working hard and making personal sacrifice to help many children have a great Christmas.
