Boat Raffle at Bud Light’s Winter Heat

The Lowndes FFA Alumni Chapter will raffle a boat at the Bud Light Winter Heat event. The boat raffle tickets are $5 each. They will be on sale at the event. The boat will be on display as well.
The boat is a 18 foot, heavy aluminum and wood constructed. It is a Gregor 18 model. It is on a trailer which comes with the boat.
The winning ticket will be draw shortly before the main event. The winner does not have to be present to win. However, if they are, they will be able to drive away with the boat! For buying tickets in advance, contact Alumni Secretary, Tanya Carter, at tlcpink@bellsouth.net .
The Lowndes FFA Alumni Chapter regularly raises funds to help FFA members who are students of Agricultural Education in the Lowndes County School System. They recently helped fund a trip to the National FFA Convention which resulted in a student winning a national competition.
FFA, formerly known as “Future Farmers of America,” is a national youth organization of more than 500,000 members and is designed to develop leadership and agriscience skills. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
