Bud Light’s Winter Heat 2011

Bud Light’s Winter Heat is set to bring mixed martial arts action back to Valdosta. This event will feature over a dozen amateur and professional mixed martial arts bouts.
The event, also brought to you by Rock’N Rodeo, will be held on January 29 at Mathis City Auditorium. Doors will open to the public at 6:00 pm.
Highlights of the card include amateur title fights. Professional matches include local favorite Shawn Snow. James Marino will make his Valdosta debut. Shaun “The Stallion” Gay will make his return to the cage. Brett “Bedtime” Chism will face a tough opponent in the main event.
Two amateur title fights will be featured including Robert Shonfelt vs Codey Eddy. Brent “War Machine” Johnson will move down to heavyweight to take on the gigantic James Smiley.
Other amateur fighters in this show include Kelly McCarthy, Eric Farmer, Jarvis Stallings, Robert Tims, Bobby Stratton, Channin Williams, Chris Lein, AND MORE.
Tickets range from $25 to $100 each. Several cageside seats, within an arm’s reach of the cage, are still available. Tickets are available at:

The Lowndes FFA Alumni will hold a charity raffle for $500 to be drawn at the event. Tickets will be on sale for $5 in the lobby.
The After Fight Party held at Rock’N Rodeo. Food and drinks at the event will be served.
The event is sanctioned by the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission. The card is subject to change.




Cant wait, I’m real excited about having both my boys on the card. Both of them show a lot of heart training and I am confident they both will represent themselves and VMAC team well! Good luck to all the VMAC fighters!!!

Can I get some type of information of who I’m fighting, what weight class etc. Its two and half weeks out from fight night and we havent got any information at all….We also have two other guys scheduled to fight with minimal information..Need something soon or we will have no choice but to back out…

I’m really looking forward to seeing the guys from VMAC fight in Winter Heat and hoping everyone of them will be winners. The ones I’ve met are awesome guys and totally dedicated to their sport. Can’t wait to see Shawn Snow, Eric Farmer, Brent Johnson and of course Brett Chism deliver winning performances…best of luck to all the VMAC fighters.
