Chism to Face UFC Vet at Bud Lite’s Summer Heat

Valdosta’s own Brett “Bedtime” Chism will fight his first UFC veteran at Bud Lite’s Summer Heat. Chism will face David Roberts.
Roberts fought in the UFC in 1999 against Marcello Mello. Losing to Mello, he further amassed a pro record of 4-5. This culiminated with his last fight against Jeremy May on the The Ultimate Fighter 7 series. Since then, Jeremy May and Roberts have become good friends and roommates.
May, who now temporarily resides in Thomasville, will be cornering Roberts in the co-main event at Bud Lite’s Summer Heat. Roberts and May are sponsored by the Lethal by Kristen Brown MMA apparell company.
Bud Lite’s Summer Heat is a professional and amateur fight mixed martial event which will be held on June 20th at Mathis City Auditorium. Doors will open at 6 pm.
