Congratulations to Sonja Foster!

       Congratulations to World Champion Sonja Foster for winning the Women’s Welterweight Full Contact Rules at the IKF World Classic Amateur Kickboxing Tournament held this past weekend in Orlando, Florida.  Her title belt was presented by IKF Champion Justin Pickett following her defeat of Rebekah Verdin of Simpsonville, South Carolina, who is trained by Ray Thompson. 

        Mrs. Foster also defeated Brittany Flesch by unanimous decision earlier in the tournament to her title shot against Verdin.  Sonja is trained by Ben Kiker (center right).  Mr. Kiker also trained Tournament Champions David Boles (left) and Dusty Winkles (right).

        Sonja is married to Bodogfight fighter, Andy Foster, who also trains with Mr. Kiker at United Karate Studios, and Steve Headden at Knuckle Up Fitness.
