Radio Commercial – Black Crow Media is working closely with VMAC to promote the Summer Heat event. Click here to listen to the commercial which is currently airing on Hot 102.7, News Talk 105.9, Rock 108, and KIX FM.

Tournament Costs – The tournament entry fee is $35. Spectators are $5 each. However, tournament admission is free with purchase of a ticket to the evening fight event.

The Stallion Returns to Action – Hometown favorite Shaun “The Stallion” Gay will be fighting on the Summer Heat card. He will be facing a fighter who has traveled the world with a great many wins. Chatt Lavendar called the promoter requesting a match with Gay because he wants to test his newly improved standup game. These two fighters are both interested in testing their standup skills on each other. This should be an exciting match to see.

Tournament Rules – The Tournament Rules have been updated.

Day Tournament – Registration at 8:00 AM, Divisions begin at 9:00 AM.
Second Weigh-in – 4:00 PM.
Rules Meeting – 5:30 PM.
Officials Meeting – 6:00 PM.
Doors Open – 6:00 PM.

First Match – 7:00 PM.

Main Event – Ashley Rivers Ashley Rivers will be fighting Jonathan Wiezorek  Sher Dog Wiezorekas planned.

Heavyweight Match Made – Chris Herring has agreed to fight Scott Harper. Herring hails from North Carolina. Harper, from Douglas, GA, works in law enforcement in Coffee County.

Fight Card – The first draft of the Fight Card has been released. Please note this is subject to change.

Wiezorek Matched for Main Event! – Jonathan “Lock N Load” Wiezorek will return to action in the main event on 6/24. He will be facing the competitive Ashley Rivers of Arab, Alabama. Besides his considerable record, Rivers brings years of Army boxing and wrestling experience. The fans can expect an exciting match in this one!

Regional Change – VMAC will not be hosting the 2006 IKF Regional. Instead, we will have a day martial arts tournament and evening fight event. The day tournament will include light contact kickboxing, kata, and grappling divisions. This fight card will be sanctioned by the ISCF. Keep checking here for updates.
