Naville and Chism Bringing Home the Belts
April 29, 2007 by Sensei

Congratulations to Kamrin Naville and Brett Chism on winning their divisions at the International Sport Combat Federation’s 1st World Classic Amateur MMA Tournament. Naville won a fight yesterday by 1st round TKO and advanced to today’s finals. In the lightweight open finals, he won a Unaminous Decision in a 3 round war.
Chism advanced to the light heavyweight open finals automatically as there were some no-shows in his division. He won via 1st round KO.
Nathan Barnes also represented VMAC, winning as many fights as his team-mate, Naville. He won both of those fights with his tremendous stand-up, earning TKOs in both of the first rounds. He lost a split decision in the finals of the novice middleweight division today. He injured an ankle pretty badly in the 1st round and nearly won the fight. Congratulations on the wins, Nate.

That’s awsome, VMAC kicked some butt… 4-1 is great. Congrats Brett, Kam, and Nate.
I would like to quote what Brett told the announcer after he won at Battlecage 360 in Monroe, LA. “That’s how we do it in Georgia.” Congratulations guys.
