Johnson to Make War at Summer Heat

June 9, 2010 by Sensei

Brent “The War Machine” Johnson is the senior member of the  Valdosta Martial Arts Center (VMAC) fight team.  Brent has been training at VMAC for a little more than two years.  He has fought all over the state of Georgia.

He also won the Heat Events Amateur Super Heavyweight Title belt at last year’s Bud Light’s Winter Heat.  His last local outing saw him takedown his opponent, Terry Blackburn of Jacksonville in the third round and ground and pound him for a majority of the round.  However, he lost a very close decision on the judges’ scorecards.

Next Saturday, Johnson will face Logan”The Cobra” Jones of Team Darkside at Bud Light’s Summer Heat.  Jones is new to the fight game, but a tremendous athlete and a competitive bodybuilder.  Jones is almost half of Johnson’s age and about 3 inches taller.

Johnson, 39 years old, is a testament to what hard work and determination can do. Come out and support him and his opponent at Bud Light’s Summer Heat as we see if the Cobra can stop the War Machine.
