Willson Steps Up to Pro Co-Main

The co-main event at Bud Light’s Summer Heat will feature Dickie “The Shocker” Willson. He will face the extremely tough Jay Hernandez in this match.
Dickie’s last fight was at his professional debut at Bud Light’s Winter Heat. He fought Josh Montoro. It was a rough, crowd pleasing, highly physical match that was back and forth the entire time. It saw Willson defeat Montoro in the second round.
The audience can expect the same sort of match against Hernandez at Bud Light’s Summer Heat. Hernandez is a strong and tough fighter. At one of our past Heat events, Hernandez stepped up to heavyweight. He fought Chris Anderson of Douglas and lost a very close decision. This is remarkable because Anderson is a strong opponent and because he outweighed Hernandez by almost 50 pounds.
Follows is video of an old interview with The Shocker.
