Bud Light’s Summer Heat 2010

Bud Light’s Summer Heat is set to bring mixed martial arts action back to Valdosta. This event will feature over a dozen amateur and professional mixed martial arts bouts.
The event, also brought to you by Charley O’Corley’s and Little Caesars Pizza, be held on June 19 at Mathis City Auditorium. Doors will open to the public at 6:00 pm.
Brett “Bedtime” Chism will face a tough rematch in the main event. He will fight Bernard Rutherford for the Georgia State Professional Middleweight title belt.
Highlights of the card include the professional debut of Tony “Ringworm” Ritter, Dicky Wilson (co-main event) and Shawn Snow will make their returns to the cage.
Kelly McCarthy and Eric Farmer, both of Valdosta Martial Arts Center, will each fight for Heat promotion title belts. They will compete for the Super Lightweight and Lightweight belts, respectively.
Other amateur fighters in this show include Tuzer Chism, Jonpaul Anes, Chanin Williams, Codey Eddy, Logan Jones, Brent Johnson, and more.
Tickets range from $29 to $100 each. Several cageside seats, within an arm’s reach of the cage, are available. Tickets are available at:

The after fight party will be held at Charley O’Corley’s. Food and drinks at the event will be served by Loco’s.
The event is sanctioned by the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission. The card is subject to change.
