Bud Light’s Summer Heat is set to bring mixed martial arts action back to Valdosta. This event will feature over a dozen amateur and professional mixed martial arts bouts.

The event, also brought to you by Rock N Rodeo, be held on June 25 at Mathis City Auditorium. Doors will open to the public at 6:00 pm.

Tony “The Ringworm” Ritter will try his skills against Rashaun Spencer of Lake City in the main event.

Brett “Bedtime” Chism will face a tough match in the co-main event.  He will fight Ryan Hodge of Gainesville, Florida.

Professional highlights of the card include James Marino versus Mike Dubois of the Reality/Performance MA Fight TeamShawn Snow will also return to the cage.

Brent Johnson will face Dusty Aultman of the SMAC Fight Team in Waycross for the Heat Events Advanced Amateur Heavyweight Title beltChannin Williams will take on Juan Saucedo, also of the SMAC Fight Team for the Advanced Amateur Super Lightweight Title Belt.

Dudley Spence, a recent graduate of the VSU Football Team, will make his amateur debut.  Other fighters in this show include Justin Lestekoff, Charlie Wisenbaker, Chase Rowden, Malcolm EdwardsMatt Robinson, and more.

Tickets range from $29 to $100 each. Several cageside seats, within an arm’s reach of the cage, are available. Tickets are available at:

The after fight party will be held at Rock N Rodeo. Food and drinks at the event will be served by Sonny’s Real Pit BBQ.

The event is sanctioned by the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission and co-sanctioned by the International Sport Combat Federation. The card is subject to change.
