The War Machine Makes Winter Heat in the Cage
Brent “The War Machine” Johnson came to Valdosta Martial Arts Center (VMAC) about two years ago to get in shape. It has worked for him. He has lost more than 60 pounds and can out perform some fighters half his age at VMAC.
After reaching some his fitness goals at VMAC, he decided to try his hand at fighting. Since then, he has amassed a 4-2 record. He also won the Heat Events Amateur Super Heavyweight Title belt at last year’s Bud Light’s Winter Heat.
This coming Saturday, Johnson will face Terry Blackburn of Jacksonville (SEE VIDEO BELOW), Florida, in the steel cage at Bud Light’s Winter Heat. Blackburn is an accomplished kickboxer and has a MMA record of 1-1. Blackburn will enter the cage at almost identical height and weight to Johnson.
Johnson, 39 years old, is a testament to what hard work and determination can do. Come out and support him at Bud Light’s Winter Heat as these two super heavyweights shake the cage.
